Questions To Ask College Representatives
College fairs are a great place for students to learn more about the different institutions that interest them. Although exciting, they can also be overwhelming and it’s helpful to come prepared with a list of questions. Here are some to help you get started.
These questions are merely references and you should ask those which really interest you.

What high school courses are required? (ex. foreign language, science, math, etc.)

Is the ACT or SAT optional or required? What range of scores are preferred?

6. What’s the average class size? What’s the largest freshman course?
7. What special programs are offered? (ex. Study Abroad, Co-Op, etc.)
8. What makes your ________ program stand out?
9. How do students get around campus?
10. Can freshman have a vehicle on Campus? If so, how much is the parking fee?
11. What’s the most unique thing about their college they are proud of?

2. What types of activities are available (clubs, associations, honor societies, etc.)
3. Do most students live on campus or commute?
4. Are there sororities and fraternities? What percentage of students are in Greek Life?
5. What athletic programs are available? Do they offer club sports or intramurals?
6. Is housing available/guaranteed for freshman? Sophomores, etc.?
