This session will feature a roundtable discussion of the performing and visual arts industry, with an emphasis on understanding the keys to long-term success.  Topics to be covered include:  the life of a freelance artist, inside the hiring process for arts jobs, understanding contracts, the entrepreneurial skills needed for continual employment, information on salary and benefits, why networking matters, and the personality traits of successful artists.
